Motivational Speaking

Friday, Febraury 14 th.  for the Antigonish Career Resource Center ” New Beginnings” class. I will be speaking about “reinventing ourselves as we get older.”

My stories are primarily meant to amuse but there is an undercurrent running through them. In addition to entertaining, my hope is to inspire people. And , to that end, I am available to speak to groups, small or large. In all cases, a portion of my speaking fee will go to charity. This is part and parcel of “my dream” ( check out the video of the same name ).

Many people have commented that they like my stories because they are simple. No question there! You won’t need a thesaurus to get the gist of what I’m trying to say. The same holds true for my speaking engagements. You won’t catch me using modern buzz words, complicated charts or slick power point presentations. No. What you will get is me relaying stories and sharing ideas, some of them funny but most with a message.

I have always tried to surround myself with positive people… doers and dreamers, but especially doers. At the end of the day, my goal is to make people feel better about themselves, using really simple tools to effect change.

Most of what I have to share, I have heard over the years. None of it is new. My message is simple. We only have one life to live, so live!

If this sounds like something that might appeal to you and your group, get in touch with me.

Hi Len, I am hosting a TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) rally in September. There will be between 100-120 people in attendance (mostly women). I am looking for a guest speaker who can help inspire and motivate. I was wondering what you would charge for a 60 – 90 minute presentation. Please keep in mind that Tops is a non-profit organization, our main objective is to help our members lose weight and lead healthy lives. You can contact me @

This is the first time I’ve visited your site and I have to say your blog is great! I think you would be a perfect guest speaker for our rally.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Len,
We met this year at the Fit 4 Lit event, you were a great help and brought a wealth of experience to the finish line. So, thank you again for your support we intend to watch this event grow in the future 🙂

I am writing to you in regards to your motivational speaking. I teach at the NSCC in Port Hawkesbury in the Business Administration and Office Administration Programs. I think it would be great to have you come and speak to our students in the 1st and 2nd year. Perhaps we can sometime soon to discuss the possibility. Thanks Len.

Hi blogger, i found this post on 24 spot in google’s search results.
I’m sure that your low rankings are caused by hi bounce rate.
This is very important ranking factor. One of the biggest reason for
high bounce rate is due to visitors hitting the back button. The
higher your bounce rate the further down the search results your posts and pages will end up, so having reasonably low bounce rate is important
for improving your rankings naturally. There is very handy
wp plugin which can help you. Just search in google for:
